TERMS & CONDITIONS

Last updated: September 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to services provided by JOHANNA ONDA / Johanna Paaso, including sound healing sessions, yoga sessions, private and group sessions, workshops, events, retreats, corporate sessions, and other booked performances or experiences.

By booking a session or service with JOHANNA ONDA, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions. These Terms & Conditions apply to bookings made directly through this website, by email, message, or other agreed booking method, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Bookings & payment

Your booking is confirmed once confirmation has been provided by JOHANNA ONDA and any required payment or deposit has been received.

Prices, payment schedules and other booking-specific arrangements will be communicated at the time of booking.

For events, collaborations, corporate bookings and performances, any arrangements agreed separately in writing between the parties will take precedence over these general Terms & Conditions where they differ.

Cancellations & transfers

Registrations for scheduled sessions, workshops and events are binding.

If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your place to another person by notifying JOHANNA ONDA via email in advance.

Refunds are not generally provided for participant cancellations. In exceptional circumstances, such as illness supported by a medical certificate, refund or transfer requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Different cancellation conditions may apply to private sessions, corporate bookings, retreats, performances and collaborations. Where applicable, these will be communicated when the booking is made.

If JOHANNA ONDA needs to cancel an event or session, participants will be offered a refund or, where appropriate, the possibility to transfer their booking to another date. JOHANNA ONDA is not responsible for additional costs incurred by participants in connection with a cancellation, such as travel or accommodation costs, except where required by applicable law.

Health & participation

Sound healing and yoga sessions are intended to support general well-being and relaxation and are not a substitute for medical, psychological or other professional healthcare.

By participating, you acknowledge responsibility for your own health and well-being during the session.

If you have a medical condition that may be affected by sound, vibration, movement or prolonged relaxation, or if you are unsure whether a session is suitable for you, please consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional before participating.

Where appropriate, participants are encouraged to inform JOHANNA ONDA before the session of any relevant health conditions, injuries, pregnancy or other circumstances that may require modifications or additional consideration.

Participation is always voluntary. You are encouraged to listen to your body and may pause, modify or leave a practice or session at any time.

Individual responses to sound healing, yoga and other well-being practices vary. No particular physical, emotional, therapeutic or health outcome is promised or guaranteed.

Sound Healing – Health Considerations

Sound healing sessions may include crystal singing bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, gong, chimes and other acoustic instruments. Sound levels, frequencies and vibrations vary throughout a session.

Please consult your healthcare professional before participating if you have a health condition that may be affected by sound or vibration, including:

• sound-sensitive or reflex epilepsy, or a known history of seizures triggered by sound
• significant hearing conditions, tinnitus or heightened sensitivity to sound
• a recently implanted medical device or recent surgery, where vibration or sound exposure may be a concern
• any other medical condition for which you have been advised to avoid intense sound or vibration

If you are pregnant, recovering from an injury or medical procedure, or have any other health concerns, please let the facilitator know before the session where appropriate.

Sound healing is intended to support relaxation and general well-being and is not a substitute for medical or psychological treatment. If you are unsure whether sound healing is appropriate for you, please seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional before participating.

During the session, you are always encouraged to listen to your body. You may move farther away from the instruments, use hearing protection, pause or leave the session at any time if you experience discomfort.

Yoga – Health Considerations

Participants are responsible for practising within their own abilities and limitations.

Please inform the teacher of relevant injuries, pregnancy or other circumstances that may affect your practice before the session where reasonably possible.

Instructions and physical practices are offered as guidance. Participants should stop or modify any movement that causes pain, dizziness or significant discomfort.

Events, festivals & performances

Where JOHANNA ONDA performs as part of an event, festival, concert, retreat or programme organised by a third party, the organiser is responsible for the overall management and safety of its event, venue and audience, except for responsibilities specifically agreed to be undertaken by JOHANNA ONDA.

The organiser is responsible for communicating any venue-specific safety requirements, restrictions or relevant production information to JOHANNA ONDA before the performance.

Where technical equipment, amplification or production services are required for a performance, responsibilities and costs should be agreed between JOHANNA ONDA and the organiser before the event.

Personal belongings

Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings. JOHANNA ONDA cannot accept responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal property except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.

Photography & recording

Photography or video may occasionally take place during events or sessions.

Where participants are clearly identifiable, and the material is intended for promotional use, appropriate consent will be requested where required.

Participants may inform JOHANNA ONDA if they do not wish to appear in photographs or recordings.

Liability

Participants are responsible for deciding whether a session or activity is appropriate for them and for communicating relevant concerns where appropriate.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or limit liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.

Changes to events

Reasonable changes may occasionally be made to schedules, locations, teachers/facilitators, programme content or other event details due to circumstances outside JOHANNA ONDA's control.

Where a significant change occurs, registered participants will be informed as soon as reasonably possible.

Privacy

Personal information provided in connection with bookings, enquiries and participation will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.

Personal information will not be sold to third parties.
